Flu Pandemic comes to an end.

On the 10^th of August, 2010, the Director General of the World Health Organization announced the end of the Swine Flu (A/H1N1) pandemic.

Known as the "post-pandemic" phase, there is still H1N1 activity with localised outbreaks of various magnitudes still likely to continue.

The UK's Health Protection Agency (HPA) comments that countries in the southern hemisphere (in particular India and New Zealand) are seeing H1N1 as part of their seasonal flu activity.
